Blue Ice - Dinner / dessert plate

Fascinating ... is how those who have been lucky enough to see blue ice have described it. Blue Ice is a collection inspired by this magnificent natural phenomenon that occurs when snow falls on a glacier and merges with it through compression. By squeezing the air bubbles and enlarging the ice crystals, the passage of light is reduced to zero, so that the visual effect makes the ice look blue.

All the pieces in the Blue Ice collection have a matt blue ice finish with circular textured surfaces.

Origin and product care:

• Made in England using an artisan production process dating back to 1800. Despite having a modern design, it retains the unique features of the handmade processes used in its manufacture. This is especially noticeable on the underside of each piece.
